MCP server

Your plan,
inside the assistant you already use.

TimeLoop has an MCP server. Connect ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client to your own account, and ask it what your day looks like, to add an event, or to find a free hour.

The address to give your assistant

https://mcp.trytimeloop.com/mcp

You say yes where you are signed in: TimeLoop on the web.

Connect

Where to add it.
One address everywhere.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT’s settings, add a custom connector (an MCP server) and paste the address. Choose OAuth when asked how to sign in. The names of the menus are OpenAI’s and change; whether your ChatGPT can add one is theirs to say.

Claude

In Claude: Customize, Connectors, Add, Add custom connector. Name it TimeLoop, paste the address, choose Add and then Connect. Whether your Claude can add one is Anthropic’s to say.

Claude Code

One line in a terminal, then /mcp to sign in:

claude mcp add --transport http timeloop https://mcp.trytimeloop.com/mcp

Other MCP clients

Any client that speaks Streamable HTTP and signs in with OAuth 2.1 (PKCE, dynamic client registration). Clients on your own computer are sent back to localhost; other websites must be ones TimeLoop knows.

How it works

Connected in three steps.

  1. 1

    Add the address

In your assistant, add a custom connector (a remote MCP server) and paste the address above. There is nothing to install and no key to copy.

  2. 2

    Say yes in your browser

The assistant opens TimeLoop, where you are signed in. The page names the assistant, says what it asks for, and lets you choose reading only.

  3. 3

    Ask

Your assistant now has TimeLoop’s tools. What it changes shows up in TimeLoop on your phone, your Mac and the web.

How it is kept safe

Yours, and only yours.

No invented times

An assistant uses the time you said. For anything else TimeLoop’s own planner chooses, and you see the result before it is saved.

Nothing saved unseen

Plans and rearranged days are previewed first. Deleting takes two steps, and the second needs your yes.

Only your account

A connection stands for one account and for what you allowed: reading, or reading and changing. No tool can name another person.

A record without your words

TimeLoop writes down which tool was called, when and through which assistant. Not what was asked, and not what was answered.

The tools

What an assistant can do.
23 tools, each named.

Each tool is described here in the words it gives an assistant. “The person” in them is you.

Reads

Open to every connection. Nothing changes by asking.

See a dayget_day
The person's plan for one day in TimeLoop: every event with its start and end, whether its time is fixed or was chosen by TimeLoop, what is done, the free time between things and what comes next.
See a weekget_week
The person's week in TimeLoop: the seven days with their events and free time, and the week's goals with what is planned and what is done.
See one eventget_event
Everything about one event or planned piece of work on the person's plan: when it is, whether its time is fixed, where it is and when to leave, its notes, the people in it with their answers, and the tasks that belong to it.
Find free timefind_free_time
Where something of a given length fits into the person's days: the free stretches long enough for it, between waking and sleeping and around everything already planned, with start times to offer.
See taskslist_tasks
The person's tasks in TimeLoop: things to do that have no time yet, each with its notes, its day if it has one and where TimeLoop's planner says it would fit; the tasks ticked off lately; and the lists shared with their circles (family, friends), with who each line is for.
See goalslist_goals
The person's goals for this week in TimeLoop, such as "gym three times a week" or "six hours of study before Friday": what is wanted, how much of it is planned and how much is done (kept apart: planned is not done), and whether it fits into the week.
See circleslist_circles
The person's circles in TimeLoop (the groups they plan with: family, friends, a team): who is in each, and the times proposed in it that still wait for answers, with who said yes, maybe or no.
Find a time with a circlefind_circle_time
When everyone in one of the person's circles is free: the stretches of each day nobody has anything planned in, and start times for something of the given length within sociable hours.
Preview a planpreview_plan
Shows where TimeLoop's planner would place things that have no time of their own ("two hours of deep work tomorrow morning", "call the bank this week"), around everything that is already planned.
Preview a late daypreview_running_late
The person is running late: shows how the rest of today would be rearranged if everything from now were pushed by so many minutes.

Changes

Only when you left “Change” ticked while connecting.

Add an eventadd_event
Adds an event to the person's plan at the day and time they named: a meeting, an appointment, a dinner.
Add a taskadd_task
Adds a task: something to do that has no time yet.
Add a goaladd_goal
Adds a goal for TimeLoop to find time for: something so many times a week ("gym three times a week") or so many hours by a day ("six hours of study before Friday").
Mark doneset_done
Marks something done, or not done after all: an event or a planned piece of work on a day (by its id from get_day), a task (by its id from list_tasks) or a line on a circle's shared list.
Change an eventupdate_event
Changes what an event says: its name, how long it takes, where it is, or a line added to its notes.
Move an eventmove_event
Moves something on the person's plan to the day or time they named: an event of their own goes there; a piece of work TimeLoop placed is moved and the rest of the day is fitted around it.
Give a task a timeschedule_task
Gives a task from the person's list a place in their day: it starts in the free stretch named and becomes part of the plan.
Save a previewed planconfirm_plan
Saves exactly the plan that preview_plan showed, once the person agreed to it.
Save a rearranged dayapply_replan
Saves exactly the rearranged day that preview_running_late showed, once the person agreed to it.
Propose a time to a circlepropose_to_circle
Proposes an event to one of the person's circles at the day and time they chose: it appears in everyone's plan as waiting for an answer, and the others are told and can say yes, maybe or no.
Answer a circle invitationanswer_invitation
Answers a time that was proposed in one of the person's circles, in their name: yes, maybe or no.
Delete somethingdelete_item
Deletes an event, a task, a line on a shared list or a goal from the person's plan, in two steps.
Plan from a sentenceplan_from_text
Hands one sentence, as the person said it, to TimeLoop's own reader, which knows their routines and what is already on their list: an event said with its day and time is added at that time, and a thing said without a time becomes a task (no time is made up).

What stays in the app

Connecting calendars, buying TimeLoop Pro, your routine and deleting your account are not among the tools. An assistant cannot see how you sign in or what you pay with.

Events that came from a calendar you connected are part of your plan, so an assistant sees them. They are changed in the calendar they came from, and the server says so.

Taking it back

In TimeLoop on the web, Settings, Assistants lists every assistant you connected, whether it may change your plan, and when it was last used. Disconnect one and it stops working at once. Deleting your account removes them all.

Free or Pro

Connecting an assistant is free, and so are the tools that read and the tools that change things one at a time. One tool hands a whole sentence to TimeLoop’s own reader: that is part of TimeLoop Pro, as planning from a sentence is in the app. The app’s own limits, such as how many goals Free keeps going, hold here too.

For the technically minded

A remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP. Sign-in is OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration; the server says where at /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. Two scopes: plan:read and plan:write. Access tokens last a day and are renewed in turn; only their hashes are kept. Every tool says whether it only reads and whether it can destroy.

Questions

Asked before you asked.

What is TimeLoop’s MCP server?

A way for an AI assistant to work with your TimeLoop plan through the Model Context Protocol: tools that read your day, week, tasks, goals and circles, and tools that change them when you allow it.

Which assistants can use it?

Any MCP client that can add a remote server with OAuth sign-in: ChatGPT and Claude where they let you add a custom connector, Claude Code, and others.

Is it in the ChatGPT or Claude directory?

Not at the time of writing. You add it yourself with one address.

Do I need an account?

Yes: sign in to TimeLoop with Apple or Google. A plan kept on a phone without signing in cannot be connected.

Can the assistant change things without asking me?

It can only change anything if you allowed changes when connecting. Plans are previewed before they are saved, and deleting needs your yes as a second step.

Does TimeLoop read my conversation with the assistant?

No. TimeLoop receives the tool calls the assistant makes, and keeps a record of which tool was called and when, not of what was asked.

Does it cost anything?

Connecting and almost every tool are free. Handing a whole sentence to TimeLoop’s own reader is part of TimeLoop Pro.

Your day, figured out.

Say what you need to do. See your life fall into place.
