How it works
Three steps.
- 1
Pick the place
Search for the exact address when you add the event, or add it later.
- 2
The way is measured
From where you are, or from home or work if you have set them, by car, public transport or on foot. By car, the usual traffic for that hour is counted in.
- 3
Leave on time
The trip sits in your timeline as its own block, so nothing is planned on top of it.

In detail
What it does for you.
A leave-by time, not a guess
The plan shows when to set off, not only when to be there.
Weather at the place
Every event with a place shows the forecast for where and when it happens. The forecast comes from MET Norway.
The trip is part of the plan
The scheduler treats the way there as time that is taken, so the task before it ends early enough.
Then ask the rest
Parking, opening hours, which bus goes there: Look it up answers from the web and keeps the answer with the event.
Why it belongs in a planner
A calendar entry says 14:40. What your day needs to know is 14:10, because that is when you have to be out of the door. Most plans go wrong in that gap: the task before the appointment is given the whole time up to it.
TimeLoop closes the gap by making the way a block of its own. When you replan a late day, that block is protected together with the event it leads to.
Traffic before you leave
Switch it on and TimeLoop looks at the traffic once before each drive in your plan, and tells you if you need to leave earlier. It is off until you choose it, because it means keeping your home, rounded to about a hundred metres, on our server. Switch it off and that is deleted.
What is shared to make it work
The place you pick is stored with your event. Searching for a place sends the words you type to a map service. The privacy page says exactly which service on which phone, and what goes along.
Free or Pro
The measured way, the time to leave, the traffic check, the weather and Look it up are part of TimeLoop Pro. Without Pro you can add the minutes of a trip yourself, and they are kept free before the event just the same.
Questions
Asked before you asked.
How is the travel time measured?
From where you are, or from home or work if you have set them, to the place of the event, by car, public transport or on foot. By car, the usual traffic for that hour is counted in.
Does the trip block time in my plan?
Yes. It is a block of its own before the event, and nothing else is planned on top of it.
Whose weather forecast is it?
MET Norway’s, shown for the place and the time of the event.
Is this free?
When to leave and the weather are part of TimeLoop Pro. Without Pro you can add the minutes of the trip yourself.
