How it works
Three steps.
- 1
Say how late
Tap 15, 30, 43 or 60 minutes, or set your own. With Pro you can also type or say “I’m 40 minutes late”.
- 2
Compare
Before and after, side by side. You see exactly which things move and by how much.
- 3
Keep it or not
One tap keeps the new plan. Undo is offered right after, for a few seconds, and brings back the plan as it was.
You’re 43 min behind.
Lunch moves 12:00 → 12:30. Everything else stays.
In detail
What it does for you.
Fixed events are protected
The doctor at 14:40 stays at 14:40, and so does the time it takes to get there.
Only what must move, moves
Thirty minutes late in the morning can mean lunch shifts by half an hour and everything else stays put.
Honest when it cannot work
If the delay leaves no room for something, TimeLoop says which thing no longer fits today and moves it to Tasks, instead of putting it on top of another.
Nothing behind your back
You are shown the change first. The plan is yours until you confirm.
What moves and what stays
TimeLoop takes the rest of your day from the moment you are at. Fixed events and the travel to them are pinned. The flexible things that are left are placed again in the room around them, in order, without overlaps.
The same scheduler that built the day builds the replan, by the same rules. That is why a replan is quick to read: most of the day looks as it did, and the differences are marked.
Not only late
The same screen handles the other ways a day shifts: a block that needs fifteen or thirty minutes more, or one you finished early.
Free or Pro
Replanning with a tap is free: when you fall behind, Today offers it. Telling TimeLoop in a sentence that you are late is part of TimeLoop Pro, like every change made by saying so.
Questions
Asked before you asked.
Does replanning change my calendar?
Only after you confirm. The preview changes nothing. Once you keep the new plan, it is written to the TimeLoop calendar like any other change.
Can I undo a replan?
Yes, right away. Undo is offered for a few seconds as soon as you keep the new plan, and brings back the plan as it was. After that you replan again or move things by hand.
What if it cannot all fit?
You are told which things no longer fit today. They wait in Tasks until you give them another time. Nothing is squeezed on top of a fixed event.
Does it need Pro?
