What it is
A calendar shows you boxes. TimeLoop works on what is in them: it plans your day around your fixed events, counts the way there, plans the rest again when you run late and looks things up for you. It works with Apple Calendar, Google Calendar and iCloud Reminders, and with the people you plan with.
It needs no account. Signing in with Apple or Google is only for having your plan on more than one device.
Planning by hand, tasks, shared lists and calendar sync are free. The parts that do the work for you, such as planning from a sentence, when to leave, the weather and looking things up, are TimeLoop Pro, a subscription. The pricing page has the exact split.
How it plans
The app’s full name in the stores is “TimeLoop: AI Day Planner”, and some people simply call it TimeLoop AI. The AI is the part that reads: a language model turns your sentence into events, tasks and goals. It does not choose the times. A scheduler that follows your rules does that, so the same words always give the same day. A thing with no time said gets none invented, and nothing in your plan changes until you have seen the change and confirmed it.
Who makes it
TimeLoop is built by Primož, who has symptoms of ADHD and could not keep a calendar. He wanted a planner he could talk to, so he made one. The story page tells it in his own words.
Your data
Your plan is kept on TimeLoop’s own server in Germany. Nothing is sold, there are no ads, and you can delete your account and everything in it from the app at any time. The privacy page says exactly what is stored and what is sent to whom.
Not the other Time Loops
TimeLoop the day planner is not related to the films, games or other apps that carry the name Time Loop or TimeLoop.
