For students

A student planner that finds the study hours

Writing “study for the exam” on a list does not make the hours appear. Tell TimeLoop how many you need and by when, and it puts them between your classes.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. 1

    Put in what is fixed

Classes come in from the calendar on your phone, or you add them by hand. They do not move.

  2. 2

    Set the goal

Six hours of study before Friday’s exam: how many hours, and by when. Fill it in, or with Pro say it in one sentence.

  3. 3

    Get the sessions

The hours are split into sessions on the days that have room, before the deadline.

Why it works

What is different here.

Hours by a date

A goal can be a number of hours before a deadline, or a number of times a week. Both get real slots.

Honest about what fits

If only four of the six hours fit before Friday, you are told so, with the hours that are free.

Group work with one link

Make a circle for the project. Everyone sees when the group is free and can propose a time.

Tasks that need no hour

Things to hand in or buy sit on a list with a checkbox until you give them a time.

What it is not

TimeLoop is not a timetable app. It does not import a university schedule file and has no grade book. It works with the calendar you already have: if your classes are in Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, they show up as fixed events.

What a student pays

One goal at a time is free, and so are tasks, shared lists, week and month and calendar sync. More than one goal, and planning from a sentence, are part of TimeLoop Pro.

Questions

Asked before you asked.

How do I put in my classes?

Connect the calendar they are in, or add them by hand as fixed events. There is no timetable import.

How does “six hours before Friday” become a plan?

TimeLoop splits the hours into sessions and places them on the days before the deadline that have room, around your classes.

What if the hours do not fit?

You are told how many were asked for and how many are free, and you can change the goal or free some time.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, on both.

Your day, figured out.

Say what you need to do. See your life fall into place.
