How it works
Three steps.
- 1
Add the address
In ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client, add TimeLoop’s MCP server as a connector. It is one address, the same for everyone.
- 2
Say yes once
The assistant opens TimeLoop in your browser, where you are signed in. You see what it asks for and choose whether it may only read or also change.
- 3
Ask in your own words
“What does tomorrow look like?” “Find an hour for the report this week.” “Dentist on Thursday at 14:40.” The assistant uses the tools; your plan changes in every TimeLoop app.
Good morning, Emma!

Connect your assistant
One address, and a yes in your browser. The address, the steps for ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code, and every tool by name are on the page about TimeLoop’s MCP server.
In detail
What it does for you.
Your real day
Every event with its start and end, whether its time is fixed, the way there, what is done and what comes next.
Free time that fits
Ask for ninety minutes and only stretches of ninety minutes come back, between waking and sleeping and around what is planned.
No invented times
An assistant adds an event at the time you said. For anything else TimeLoop’s own planner chooses the time, and you see it before it is saved.
Only your account
A connection stands for one account. No tool can name another person, so there is nothing of anyone else to reach.
What an assistant can do with it
Read: a day, a week, one event, your tasks and shared lists, your goals with planned and done kept apart, your circles and when their people are free.
Change, if you allowed it: add an event, a task or a goal; move or rename an event; give a task a time; mark things done; rearrange a late day; propose a time to a circle and answer one. Deleting takes two steps: the assistant is first told what would be deleted, and only your yes deletes it.
How times are chosen
A language model is good at understanding a sentence and poor at arithmetic with a full day. So the server never lets it place things by guesswork. A time you named is used as you said it. A thing without a time becomes a task, or goes to TimeLoop’s planner, which finds a place around your fixed events and travel and shows the result first.
Which calendars it sees
The assistant sees your TimeLoop plan. Events TimeLoop reads from the calendars you connected are part of that plan, so it sees them too. An event that came from a calendar is changed in that calendar, and the server says so instead of changing a copy.

- Google CalendariPhone and Android
- iCloud RemindersiPhone
TimeLoop has completed Google’s OAuth verification for its access to Google Calendar. What it reads and writes
What it does not do
It does not connect calendars, buy anything, change your routine or delete your account: those stay in the app. It cannot see how you sign in or what you pay with. And it is not a connector to someone else’s calendar service: it is the way into TimeLoop.
Free or Pro
Connecting an assistant is free, and so is everything it does step by step. One tool hands a whole sentence to TimeLoop’s own reader; that is part of TimeLoop Pro, as planning from a sentence is in the app.
Questions
Asked before you asked.
Does TimeLoop have an MCP server?
Yes. It is a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP with sign-in by OAuth. You add one address to your assistant and say yes in your browser.
Which assistants work with it?
Any client that can add a remote MCP server with OAuth sign-in. That includes ChatGPT and Claude where they let you add a custom connector, and tools such as Claude Code.
Can the assistant change my plan?
Only if you leave “Change” ticked when you connect it. Untick it and the assistant can read and nothing else.
Can it see other people’s calendars?
No. It sees your own account. In a circle it is told when the others are free or busy, never what they are doing.
How do I disconnect it?
In TimeLoop on the web, under Settings, Assistants. It stops working at once.
Do I need an account?
Yes. An assistant is connected to an account, so a plan kept on a phone without signing in cannot be connected.
