How it works
Three steps.
- 1
Add TimeLoop in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, under Plugins, choose Add and then Add custom MCP server, with the address from the MCP page.
- 2
Sign in and allow
ChatGPT sends you to TimeLoop, where you are signed in. Choose whether it may change your plan or only read it.
- 3
Ask
“What is left today?” “Move the gym to tomorrow at six.” “I am running 30 minutes late.” ChatGPT calls TimeLoop and tells you what it did.

One address, and a yes in your browser. The address, the steps for ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code, and every tool by name are on the page about TimeLoop’s MCP server.
In detail
What it does for you.
It answers from your plan
What is next, what is free, what has no time yet: read from TimeLoop at the moment you ask.
It adds what you say
An event at the time you named, a task without one, a goal such as three times a week.
A late day, rearranged
Say how late you are. You are shown what would move before anything does, and fixed events stay put.
Asks before it deletes
Deleting is two steps on our side as well: first what would go, then, after your yes, the deleting.
What to ask it
Questions about your time: what your day or week looks like, when you are free for something of a given length, what is still without a time, how far a goal has come.
Changes in plain words: add this at that time, put that on my list, find a place for two hours of writing this week, I finished the report, cancel the dentist. Where a decision is yours, ChatGPT is told to ask you.
Who decides the times
You, or TimeLoop’s planner. ChatGPT passes on the time you said. When you did not say one, it asks TimeLoop for the free stretches or lets the planner place the thing, and shows you the result before it is kept.
What ChatGPT sees and what TimeLoop sees
ChatGPT sees what the tools return: your events, tasks, goals and circles. It does not see how you sign in or what you pay with. TimeLoop does not see your conversation: it receives the tool calls, and keeps a record of which tool was called and when, not of what was asked.
What it needs
A TimeLoop account, and a ChatGPT that lets you add a custom connector. Whether yours does is OpenAI’s to say. TimeLoop is not in ChatGPT’s own directory of apps at the time of writing.
Free or Pro
Connecting is free. Reading, adding, moving and finishing things are free. Handing a whole sentence to TimeLoop’s own reader is part of TimeLoop Pro; ChatGPT can do the same step by step without it.
Questions
Asked before you asked.
Can ChatGPT read my calendar through TimeLoop?
It can read your TimeLoop plan, which holds the events TimeLoop reads from the calendars you connected.
Can ChatGPT add an event to my day?
Yes, at the time you say, if you allowed changes when connecting. If it would lie over another fixed event it is not added until you say so.
Will ChatGPT make up a time?
The server does not let it. A thing without a time becomes a task or is placed by TimeLoop’s planner, and you see the plan first.
Is TimeLoop in the ChatGPT app directory?
Not at the time of writing. You add it yourself as a custom connector with one address.
How do I take ChatGPT’s access away?
In TimeLoop on the web, under Settings, Assistants, press Disconnect.
