Leave in 4 min
Three steps.
- 1Plan the day as usual
An event with a place gets the way there and a time to leave, as on the iPhone.
- 2Get in the car
From about 15 minutes before you set off, the way to the event shows as a card on the CarPlay Dashboard, beside the map.
- 3Drive
The card counts down to the start; with a round of errands it goes stop by stop. Nothing on it needs a tap.

What it does for you.
The way to the next event
The event’s symbol in the TimeLoop ring, its title, a large in 12 min and when and where it starts. While it runs: the time left.
Next & leave widget
What is next and one large time: Leave in 12 min, orange in the last 15 minutes, and Leave now when it is time to go.
Made for a glance
Both are read only: nothing to tap or say while you drive, and nothing to add or change in the car.
From the plan you have
The same card and widget as on the iPhone’s Lock Screen, from the same plan.
Not a CarPlay app
TimeLoop is not a CarPlay app and does not guide you: Apple Maps or another navigation app does that, with TimeLoop’s card beside it. Since iOS 26, CarPlay shows any iPhone app’s Live Activities and small widgets on its Dashboard by itself, and that is what TimeLoop uses.
Tasks, focus, circles and the week stay on the phone. The card shows once the app has been opened, for example from the time to leave reminder; it does not start by itself with the phone locked.
When it comes
With the next update of TimeLoop for iPhone. It needs iOS 26 on the iPhone and a car with CarPlay. You add the Next & leave widget once, in Settings › General › CarPlay on the iPhone.
What it costs
The card and the widget come with the app. The way there and when to leave are part of TimeLoop Pro, as on the phone.
Asked before you asked.
Does TimeLoop work with CarPlay?
With the next update of TimeLoop for iPhone: the way to your next event and when to leave show on the CarPlay Dashboard, beside the map. It is not a CarPlay app of its own.
Can I add things from the car?
No. What shows in the car is read only; adding and changing happens on the phone.
Does it navigate?
No. Your navigation app guides you; TimeLoop shows when the event starts and when to leave beside it.
What do I need?
An iPhone with iOS 26 or newer and TimeLoop, and a car with CarPlay.
An event is more than its hour. With TimeLoop Pro the way there is counted into your day, and you see what the sky will be doing when you arrive.
