A to-do list your assistant can add to, and plan

A task list an assistant can only append to grows and is never done. TimeLoop’s tasks sit beside your day, so the same assistant can also find the hour to do them in.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. 1

    Connect your assistant

Add TimeLoop’s MCP server to ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client and say yes in your browser.

  2. 2

    Hand it your tasks

“Add: renew passport, call the bank, buy a present for Maja.” Each becomes a task. None is given a time it was not given.

  3. 3

    Give one a time

“When could I do the passport?” The assistant is told where it fits. Pick one, and it is in your day.

Connect your assistant

One address, and a yes in your browser. The address, the steps for ChatGPT, Claude and Claude Code, and every tool by name are on the page about TimeLoop’s MCP server.

TimeLoop’s MCP server

In detail

What it does for you.

Tasks without made-up times

A task waits on your list until you give it a time or TimeLoop’s planner does.

Where it would fit

Each task comes with the free stretches long enough for it, found by the planner.

Lists you share

A task can go on the list of one of your circles. The others are told, as they are in the app.

Goals too

“Gym three times a week” or “six hours of study before Friday”: the answer says whether it fits and how much time there is.

What an assistant can do with your tasks

See your tasks with their notes and the day they are for, the ones ticked off lately, and the lists your circles share. Add a task, with a day and notes if you gave them. Mark a task done or not done. Give a task a time. Delete one, after telling you which and getting your yes.

From list to day

This is the part a plain to-do connector does not have. Because the tasks live in a planner, the assistant can ask where a task would fit and put it there, or ask the planner to place several things at once and show you the plan before it is saved.

What it does not do

It does not import tasks from other apps, and it does not reach into other to-do services. Steps under a task and reminders are managed in the app.

Free or Pro

Connecting is free, and so is adding, finishing and scheduling tasks one at a time. Free keeps a set number of goals going, as the app does. Handing a whole sentence to TimeLoop’s own reader is part of TimeLoop Pro.

Questions

Asked before you asked.

Is there an MCP server for a to-do list?

TimeLoop has one. Your tasks, the lists you share and your goals are tools an assistant can read and, with your yes, change.

Can the assistant schedule my tasks?

Yes. It can ask where a task fits and give it that time, or have TimeLoop’s planner place it and show you first.

Will it invent due dates?

No. A task has a day only if you named one, and a time only once you or the planner gave it one.

Can it add to a list I share with my family?

Yes, when you name the circle. The others are told, as when you add it in the app.

Does it work with ChatGPT and Claude?

With any MCP client that can add a remote server with OAuth sign-in, which includes both where they let you add a custom connector.

Do I need a TimeLoop account?

Yes. An assistant is connected to an account, so tasks kept on a phone without signing in cannot be reached.

Your day, figured out.

Say what you need to do. See your life fall into place.
