How it works
Three steps.
- 1
Name the goal
Gym, study, reading, piano. Choose how many times a week, or how many hours by which date.
- 2
Say when it suits you
If you like: which days, which part of the day, and for something done outdoors, not in the rain.
- 3
Get the sessions
TimeLoop places them around what is fixed and shows, for each goal, what is planned and what is done.

Move what can wait to Friday?
In detail
What it does for you.
Times a week
“Gym three times a week” is spread over the days that have room, not stacked on one.
Hours by a date
“Six hours of study before Friday” is split into sessions on the days before the deadline.
Honest about room
If six hours are asked for and four are free, you see both numbers and the free times, and can adjust the goal.
Planned is not done
A session counts as done when you tick it. What was only planned is counted apart.
How it differs from a habit tracker
A habit tracker gives you a streak, a chart and a reminder. TimeLoop has no streaks and no charts. What it gives a goal is a place in the week: an actual hour on an actual day, around your meetings and the way to them, moved when the day moves.
If the streak is what keeps you going, a habit tracker will suit you more, and the two work side by side.
Not in the rain
A goal you do outdoors can be told to stay out of the rain. Its sessions are then kept out of the hours with rain in the forecast for the next few days. This uses the weather, which is part of TimeLoop Pro, and needs location allowed.
Free or Pro
One goal at a time is free, with its sessions planned. More than one goal is part of TimeLoop Pro, and so is saying the goal in a sentence instead of filling it in.
Questions
Asked before you asked.
What kinds of goals are there?
Two: a number of times a week, such as gym three times, and a number of hours by a date, such as six hours of study before Friday.
How are the sessions chosen?
Around your fixed events, on the days and in the part of the day you prefer if you said so. A weekly goal is spread over different days.
What if the week is full?
You are told the goal will not fit, with how much was asked for and how much time is free. You can look at the free times or adjust the goal.
Does it track streaks?
No. It shows what is planned and what is done for each goal. There are no streaks and no statistics.
How many goals are free?
One. More than one goal is part of TimeLoop Pro.
