Your day, without opening the app

On iPhone, TimeLoop puts what is running and what comes next on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen, and keeps them right as the day moves.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. 1

    Add a widget

The way you add any widget on an iPhone: choose TimeLoop from the list.

  2. 2

    Pick one

“Now & next” is small, or sits on the Lock Screen. “Today” is medium or large and lists what is left of the day.

  3. 3

    Leave it alone

It moves on by itself at every start and every end until midnight, without the app being opened.

In detail

What it does for you.

Now & next

What is running, or what comes next, with its hours. When the next thing has a time to leave, it shows that too.

Today

What is left of the day, in order: four things on the medium widget, eight on the large one.

A plus to add

The plus on the Today widget opens TimeLoop on writing something new, with the keyboard up.

The running event, live

While an event runs, the Lock Screen shows it as a Live Activity: its name, its hours, how far along it is, and what follows.

Which widgets there are

Two. “Now & next” comes as a small Home Screen widget and in three Lock Screen shapes: a rectangle, a circle and a line of text. “Today” comes in medium and large for the Home Screen.

When nothing is planned they say so, and when everything is ticked off they say that too.

The Lock Screen while something runs

When an event in your plan starts, it appears on the Lock Screen as a Live Activity. It follows the plan when the plan changes, and leaves when the event ends or you tick it off. It is not shown for trips or for gaps, and you can switch it off in the app’s notification settings.

iPhone only, and free

The widgets and the Live Activity are on iPhone; there are no Android widgets. They are part of the free version and need no TimeLoop Pro.

Questions

Asked before you asked.

Which widgets does TimeLoop have?

Two, on iPhone: “Now & next”, small or on the Lock Screen, and “Today”, medium or large, with what is left of the day.

Is there a Lock Screen widget?

Yes, on iPhone: “Now & next” in three Lock Screen shapes, and a Live Activity while an event runs.

Can I add something from the widget?

The plus on the Today widget opens TimeLoop ready for you to write. Adding without opening the app is done with Siri or a shortcut.

Do the widgets keep themselves up to date?

Yes. Whenever the plan changes, the rest of the day is handed to the widgets, and they move on at every start and end until midnight. For the new day, open the app once.

Are there Android widgets?

No. The widgets are on iPhone only.

Are the widgets free?

Yes. They need no TimeLoop Pro.

Your day, figured out.

Say what you need to do. See your life fall into place.
