Alternatives

Free Calendly alternatives for one person

Calendly’s free plan has one event type and one calendar. If you book time for yourself and want more for free, these five are worth a look, and for some needs Calendly’s paid plans stay the answer.

See how it works

Why people look for one

Calendly’s pricing page lists one event type and one calendar connection on its Free plan. More event types, more calendars, reminders and payments start with Standard, priced per seat.

For one person who books a few kinds of time, that is often where the search starts: the same thing for free, or something closer to the rest of their day.

5 to look at

Each one, in its own terms.

Or stay

When Calendly is still the best choice

You take payments when people book, schedule for a team with round-robin or routing, or rely on the tools around a meeting, such as reminders, automations and its notetaker. Calendly’s paid plans are made for that, and TimeLoop does none of it.

As of November 2026. What is said about each planner comes from its own website, help centre or store listing; if it has changed since, their pages are right. They belong to their makers and have nothing to do with TimeLoop. The order is ours: TimeLoop first because this is its website, the rest by how close they are to Calendly.

TimeLoop

Your day.
Planned for you.

You say what has to happen. TimeLoop keeps the fixed things where they are and finds a time for the rest.

TimeLoop

Where TimeLoop differs.

Free time from the whole plan

Every calendar you connect, the tasks TimeLoop has placed and your gap between things come out before a time is offered.

Requests you answer

A picked time waits for you: accept, decline with a kind note, or offer another time.

Made on the phone

Make the link, share it as a story picture and answer requests from the app.

Where TimeLoop is not the answer

TimeLoop is a day planner with a booking link, not a scheduling tool. It has one link with one length at a time, asks guests for a name and an e-mail address only, takes no payments, has no team scheduling and cannot be embedded in a website. If any of those is what you use Calendly for, one of the other four, or Calendly itself, is the right pick.

Questions

Asked before you asked.

Is there a free alternative to Calendly?

Yes, several, by their own pages: Cal.com and zcal are free for individuals, TidyCal has a free plan, Google Calendar gives a personal account one booking page, and TimeLoop’s booking link is free.

Which free alternative takes payments?

By their pricing pages, Cal.com, TidyCal and zcal take payments on their free plans; TidyCal and zcal take a fee or a commission on them outside their paid plans. Google Calendar takes payments with an eligible subscription. TimeLoop takes none.

Which one works best from a phone?

TimeLoop is made in the app on iPhone and Android. Cal.com’s pricing page lists a mobile app. Google’s help says appointment schedules are made on a computer.

What does Calendly cost next to TimeLoop?

Calendly is free with one event type; Standard is $10 a seat a month billed yearly or $12 billed monthly, and Teams $16 or $20. TimeLoop’s booking link is free, and TimeLoop Pro is $3.99 a month or $24.99 a year in the United States, €4.99 or €29.99 in euros. As of October 2026.

When is Calendly still the best choice?

When people pay as they book, when you schedule for a team, or when you want reminders, automations and meeting notes around each booking.

Where do these facts come from?

From each maker’s own pricing or help pages, read on 5 November 2026. If something has changed since, their pages are right and this one is out of date.
