Three steps.

Tap Sound on the focus. Each sound is a round disc, and the one you choose is held in the TimeLoop ring.
- 2Start the focus
The sound fades in with the ring. Pause, and it pauses; go on, and it goes on.
- 3Let it end
When the time is up the sound stops by itself, so the quiet tells you, as the ring does.

Brown noise, free
Brown noise is a deep, steady rumble, lower than white noise, like a far waterfall or the inside of a plane. Many people put it on to work or study to, because it covers the sounds around them without asking for attention. In TimeLoop it is free for everyone.
Pink noise, rain, ocean, a singing bowl, a soft drone and Lo-Fi music are part of TimeLoop Pro, with planning from a sentence and the other things that do the work for you.
Where the sounds come from
Six of the sounds were made for TimeLoop: noise and tones, each a loop of a minute or more. The Lo-Fi music is by Holizna, who gave it to the public domain (CC0).
When it comes
Calm sounds come with the next update of TimeLoop for iPhone and of TimeLoop in the browser. Focus itself is in the browser now, free.

Is there a focus timer with music?
With the next update of TimeLoop, yes: choose Lo-Fi music or one of six calm sounds, and it plays with your focus and pauses with it. Lo-Fi is part of TimeLoop Pro.
Is brown noise free?
Yes. Brown noise is free; the other sounds are part of TimeLoop Pro.
Does the sound keep playing when the phone is locked?
On iPhone, yes, until the focus ends or you pause it.
Can I focus without a sound?
Yes. No sound is the last disc, and nothing plays unless you choose it.
