Three steps.
- 1Folded
The outer screen has the phone’s layout. The tabs sit in the column under the clock, the way Apple’s own apps put them, so the day gets the whole height.
- 2Open and wide
Turn the open phone on its side and the window is wide enough for a sidebar, the toolbar and panes: the day, with Next, Tasks and the agenda beside it.
- 3Half open
Stood up like a book, the day is on the left page and the event, tasks and agenda on the right, with nothing on the fold.

Folded, upright and open.
What it does for you.
The same place after a fold
Fold or unfold, and the same day, the same view, day, week or month, and the event you had open are still there. An open search stays open.
A sidebar when there is room
From a window 820 points wide, TimeLoop lays itself out with a sidebar and panes. Held upright, the inner screen keeps the phone’s layout.
Nothing on the fold
Half open, the two halves of the screen are two pages: the day on one, the details on the other.
Light and dark
The same colours of your day in both, as on every other screen.
When it comes
With the next update of TimeLoop for iPhone. It was built and checked in Apple’s iPhone Duo simulator, folded, half open and open, in light and dark; not yet on the phone itself.
What is not there yet
Dragging between the two halves, widgets on either screen and the running focus in the Dynamic Island are not part of it yet.
What it costs
The layouts come with the app. Planning from a sentence and the way to each place are part of TimeLoop Pro, as on any iPhone.
Asked before you asked.
Does TimeLoop work on iPhone Duo?
With the next update of TimeLoop for iPhone, yes: the phone’s layout folded, a sidebar and panes open and wide, and two pages half open.
What happens when I unfold it in the middle of something?
The same day, view and open event are there on the inner screen; an open search stays open.
Is it a separate app?
No. It is the iPhone app, laid out for the size of the window it has.
Has it been tried on a real iPhone Duo?
Not yet. It was built and checked in Apple’s iPhone Duo simulator.
