What works in your language

TimeLoop’s whole interface is translated into 35 languages, the same on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Apple Watch and in the browser. All 35 are in the browser now and come to the apps with the next update. And a plan can be typed in any language.

The same app, in your language.

Typing a plan works in every language here, and in others too. Speaking works where your phone takes dictation, and where it does not, through TimeLoop’s server with Pro, in 33 languages.

Typing a plan

Write what you need to do in your own language, the way you would tell a person. TimeLoop reads it, plans around your fixed events and shows you the plan before saving it. Planning from what you write is part of TimeLoop Pro. Adding things by hand is free in every language.

TimeLoop answers in the language you wrote in. A plan written in German stays in German, task names included.

Times in words

TimeLoop does not make up a time. Before it saves one, it checks it against what you wrote. In English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Slovenian that includes times written out in words, such as halb neun or las tres y media. In the other languages, use digits, such as 9:30. If you write a time in words there, TimeLoop may ask you for it again.

Speaking

Your phone listens in the languages it takes dictation in, which are most of the ones in the table. Where it has none, as with Slovenian, TimeLoop’s server writes down what you say, with TimeLoop Pro: in 33 languages it was checked in. Croatian and Malay are not among those yet, so there it is the phone or the keyboard.

Week, clock and calendar

The week starts on Monday in every language. TimeLoop uses your phone’s 12- or 24-hour clock setting. It does not include your country’s public holidays, so keep those days free yourself.

Questions

Asked before you asked.

Can I write to TimeLoop in my language?

Yes, in any language. TimeLoop answers in the language you wrote in. Planning from what you write is part of TimeLoop Pro.

Is the app itself in my language?

In the browser, yes: its screens are in all 35 languages of the table. On iPhone, Android and the Mac they are in English and Slovenian today, and the next update brings the other 33.

Does Siri understand TimeLoop in my language?

Starting with the next update of TimeLoop for iPhone, Siri works with TimeLoop in the 22 languages marked in the table, plus Cantonese. Siri does not speak Slovenian.

Who translated the screens?

Most of the Slovenian screens were written by a native speaker. The others were translated by machine and checked automatically against rules for each language; native speakers have not reviewed them all yet.
